Financial Market Overview – 8.1.12
Financial Market Overview – the previous week and the next to come.
Last Friday the American Labor Department announced that the U.S. has added 200,000 jobs during the previous month,
lowering the unemployment rate to 8.5%.
This and other positive data, recently published in the U.S, combined with the weak data released by the ECB on Thursday,
helped support the American equity market and the USD against the Euro.
This week volatility is likely to remain high while volumes are likely to remain low,
as world investors are waiting for any progress in solving the European debt crises.
